Yoga Classes for Kids in South East London
Emanuela’s classes contain all the elements of yoga: poses, breathing and mindfulness. These are explored in a playful and engaging way through stories, adventures and props, nurturing the development of the whole child.
As well as improving coordination, balance and focus, the classes will help children to develop their ability to relax, concentrate and deal with stress, building a good foundation for lifelong well-being.
Through our adventures, stories and chats, children will have the opportunity to develop their communication skills and vocabulary by gaining new knowledge and by having the chance to talk about what they are doing/learning/feeling. The classes encourage creativity and imagination, building confidence and self-esteem in a safe and nurturing space.
Emanuela is currently teaching at the Sunflower Centre in Brockley and at afterschool clubs at a local primary school. If you would like to book Emanuela for your afterschool club, nursery or playgroup, please get in touch.

What everyone is saying about Yoga Play for Kids…
“My granddaughter loves the class and is always excited and keen to attend. After each class she tells me, and often demonstrates, what she has learnt. Learning breathing techniques and practising yoga postures is made accessible and fun and Emanuela’s gentle manner encourages the children’s confidence. Since attending the class my granddaughter has developed both her listening and concentration skills and I love seeing her progress. I would strongly recommend this class.”
“My daughter is really enjoying Yoga Play For Kids. Every week she’s so excited to show us the poses she has learnt and is delighted by the affirmations to bring home. It’s helping with her balance and coordination which is so useful for dancing, one of her other hobbies. The weekly themes really work for this age group and my only feedback would be, when can my 2 year old start?”
“I am grateful to you for introducing my son to yoga!”
About Emanuela
Emanuela is an experienced primary teacher who specialised in early years education. She began her yoga journey through her love of dance and movement, which she studied from the age of 15.
Having taken a break from dance for a few years, she turned to yoga to prepare her body to return to ballet class. However, she gained so much more! Not only did it improve her physicality and stamina, but it also gave her great insight into herself and the opportunity and tools to take on life’s ups and downs, particularly during the pandemic.
Emanuela wanted to share this with children and trained to become a children’s yoga teacher with Yoga Beez and she then set up Yoga Play for Kids.
She is fully insured, has an enhanced DBS certification and a First Aid certificate. She has undertaken Level 3 Safeguarding training.
